Port, stevedoring and terminal operations<\/h2>

Delta Terminal AB, was founded in 1988 and has since conducted port, stevedoring and terminal operations at the port of S\u00f6r\u00e5ker, which is located in Timr\u00e5 municipality, in the middle of Sweden. We own most of S\u00f6r\u00e5ker’s industrial area and offer intermodal logistics solutions for companies of all sizes.<\/p>

Through a unique strategic location in the middle of Sweden, we offer our customers easy access to local, national, and international markets. Nowhere else in Sweden can you find a port, railway, the European road network, and airport so close to each other. These conditions make it possible to tailor and adapt logistics solutions to suit your needs.<\/p>

Delta Terminal offers services including indoor loading and unloading of trains and trucks in our own terminal, terminal management, warehouse hotels and machine and crane services. We also offer indoor storage of 50,000 m\u00b2 and an additional 70,000 m\u00b2 outdoors.<\/p>

Delta Terminal’s port provides a key service function for the business community in the local area and for Sundfraktgruppen’s complex solutions. The port is open all year round and is suitable for bulk and project loads.<\/p>

In 2022, a new and modern quay will be ready with a vessel depth of 7 metres and a heavy lifting plate for loads of up to 100 tons.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Striving for a greener future<\/h2>

Greener, sustainable development consists of three dimensions where the economy is fundamental for business. Sundfraktgruppen works continuously with digital development to streamline our processes, which also ensures that we are ready for the market of the future.<\/p>

We work long-term in our business and close to our customers to achieve sustainable financial development. We are sensitive to our surroundings and our customers as well as employees and partners.<\/p>

We must be the obvious choice for sustainable logistics solutions both today and tomorrow.<\/p>

One of the most recent investments was a new harbour crane that makes it possible to reduce emissions from operations.<\/p>

Since 2019, Alltank, our sister company, has supplied Delta Terminal with diesel that has been certified and indepently inspected to deliver an 85% reduction in CO2<\/sub>-levels<\/p>

This has resulted in CO2<\/sub>-emissions of 19.7 tons in 2020 compared with 108 tons CO2\u00a0 <\/sub>previously. Our 2020 emissions have been climate compensated.<\/p>

This means a CO2<\/sub>-reduction of 100% for the parts of Delta Terminal that run with a diesel mix product from our sister company Alltank, and where the remaining climate impact has been climate compensated.<\/p>
